I'm sure the best places are in Flushing & Jackson Heights but there are a number of places listed in Manhattan (it says New York , NY) on this list

Probably your best bet will be Jackson Heights. But there may be some stores on the E. side between 28th & 30th Sts. that could help. You could even ask at the restaurants in Manhattan and see what they say.

You need to come to Jackson Heights. Really, it's easy! The E and F trains run express to 74th Street, less than 15 minutes from Midtown. 74th Street between 37th and 37th (uh, Queens addresses) is SOLID sari shops, and there are more on 73rd, and on 37th Avenue between 73rd and 76th Streets. It's like an Indian mall!

Just to explain the "37th and 37th" business that someone wrote. The borough of Queens has numbered North/South "Streets" and "Places" and it has numbered East/West "Avenues, Roads.
So an address may be, for example, 37-21 74th Street. That is somewhere between 37th and 38th Avenues, and there may be a "37th Road" in between the two. And it might be one block from 74th Place.
And the hyphen in Queens addresses is just there to make them easier to read, like longitude & latitude. Anyplace else in the world, it would just say 3721 74th St. The hyphen helps when the address is something like 152-47 259th St or 258-36 145th Avenue.
